The MICROFILAMENT is an easy to use diagnostic instrument to test the sensibility of diabetic foot ailments and to prevent a peripheral neuropathy. (There is no difference between Micro- and Monofilaments. Both descriptions are used in parallel.)

The presented so-called “10g microfilaments” are standardized and bend from a pressure of 100mN. If the patient is introduced into the examination and testing of his feets, he can easily test himself with this widely-used instrument. The duration of the examination averages between 2 to 5 minutes.
